A Safe Place
Our senior youth group invites grade 9-12 students from our community to a safe place to learn about, know, love, & serve Jesus - and have tons of fun! We have a team of youth leaders who feel called to serve in this ministry, to connect with, encourage, teach, and empower the senior youth in our church. At the beginning of the year, the youth are divided into accountability groups with a youth leader. Each month we will have a youth night focused on meeting in these small groups and discussing topics relevant to what the kids are experiencing.
We have areas for our youth to serve as well such as the youth worship team, snack team, and set up team. We have service nights (ex. Rake Ninjas!) where we serve our community and spread God’s love.

What To Expect
A typical youth night consists of a talk, games, snack and time to hang out, get to know each other and pray for one another. Our youth nights take place in-person on Tuesday evenings at New Hope Church from 7-9pm. This year has looked very different with the pandemic and we are keeping our youth family up to date with announcements on our instagram page (@newhopesryouth) and through weekly emails.
Over the course of the youth year, we usually offer many specialized nights as well!
We annually have a youth lock-in, haunted house, and a winter retreat! In the fall, we host a youth lock-in where we stay over night at the church, play laser tag and watch movies. In the winter, we go up north on a winter retreat for a weekend. We are able to spend time in nature, play games, have discussions about faith and deeper conversations about topics the youth are facing in their lives. In the spring, on one of the youth nights we go bowling! It is a night we encourage the youth to bring their fav5’s. This year we haven’t been able to go on our youth retreat or have our lock-in night at the church, but we are still hoping to go bowling! On certain evenings we also have worship (lead by our youth worship band!) and guest speakers who come to preach and answer any questions the kids have.

Everything happens right here at New Hope Church. Drop off is at our North Entrance Door (big parking lot entrance). If its your first time be sure to come a couple minutes early so we can get you registered
Sr. High Life Groups
Get Connected. Go Deeper.
As with all our student ministries, we invite our Sr. Youth to be in life groups. Life group happens Tuesday nights during youth and is an opportunity for each student to go deeper in their faith journey and have life group leaders invest in and challenge them to live lives following Jesus.
